SCC 2017 stands for Student Cluster Competition 2017. This was a competition I took part on, held in Germany. It was about parallelism and bringing a cluster to perform the most out of some given applications.
We had to take some programs in C, C++, Fortran, etc. and tweak them so that they performed as best as possible with our cluster. We did not win, we had an old ARM cluster. But it was fun, we learned a lot and…at least we won the fan favorite award! 🙂
